Born in October, I have been dressing up in costumes for as long as I can remember. I also learned to stilt walk from my dad who was in the construction field. As an adult, these 2 came together as I created my first giant stilt creature. When Star Wars Celebration was announced for Orlando in 2010, I wanted to challenge myself to build a full size and functional Wampa. This creature from The Empire Strikes Back is known for not working on film, the scenes were cut, the costume fell over. I wanted to see if I can do what Lucasfilm could not.

This opened up a decade of Star Wars costuming with the 501st Legion, a charity costuming group that with high standards of accuracy. The 501st has blessing of Lucasfilm and now Disney, and so many opportunities to participate as pseudo-celebrities we entertained the public for hospital visits, charity walks, inside Disney Parks, Sports teams "Star Wars Night", and even with music stars like Weird Al Yankovic.
